Sometimes we get asked if we can move large and bulky items, such as a hot tub removal, as part of our domestic removals service, and even on occasion our international relocation services.
As a specialist removal company this is something we can easily do and have done so on many occasions now.
We are fully insured for this type of job and have all the specialist hot tub moving equipment needed. If it’s not possible to move the hot tub from its current location to the moving vehicle, due to significant obstacles or elevation changes, we will be able to organise a crane for you. If the hot tub needs to be lifted into a vehicle, we will use a ramp or hydraulic lift.

Planning and Preparation
Where possible, plan your hot tub relocation for a time when weather conditions are favourable, as wet or icy conditions can complicate moving a jacuzzi hot tub. We will measure the dimensions of your hot tub and check the pathways, doorways, gates, and any tight spots it will need to pass through. Ensuring the path from the hot tub’s current location to the moving vehicle is clear of obstacles, using our specialist hot tub moving equipment. Our experienced hot tub movers are on hand and know how to handle the weight of your hot tub and manoeuvre it safely, ensuring it does not get damaged.
Preparing your hot tub for removal
We will turn off and disconnect the power supply for you. By draining all water from the hot tub, using the drain plug or a submersible pump, we can ensure the tub is completely dry to prevent water damage during the move. We then remove and pack any accessories, such as the cover, steps, and detachable panels.
Hot tub removal
We will carefully lift the hot tub and slide dollies underneath, securing the hot tub to the dollies with hot tub moving straps to prevent it from shifting during the move. By laying down plywood sheets, or a hot tub moving mat, we can create a smooth surface over grass, gravel, or other uneven terrain.
Hot tub transport and installation
We will ensure your hot tub is securely strapped in the moving vehicle to prevent movement and damage during transport. Once the hot tub is safely in its new location, we can reconnect the power supply, fill the hot tub with water, check for leaks and ensure all connections are secure for you.
If you decide that you no longer want your hot tub when you move to your new home, our hot tub disposal service will be able to dispose of the hot tub for you.
